Event Coordinator (Part Time)
As an Event Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the process for event rentals such as meetings, workshops, seminars and special celebrations. This role involves working closely with members to understand their day of setup needs and ensuring that all logistical aspects are handled seamlessly. The Event Coordinator will also act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning and execution process.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate event logistics with member such as space setup, layout, AV needs, etc
- Ensure that the space is properly set up before the event, coordinating with internal teams for cleaning, furniture arrangement, and equipment setup (may include moving furniture)
- Be on-site during the event to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Check-in member and their guests
- Provide outstanding service onsite to members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensure facility is free of damages, returned to original use at the conclusion of each event and any follow-up actions are completed
- Perform any other job-related duties as requested while onsite
Requirements
- Proven work experience in similar roles
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Professional appearance
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Able to adapt to fast-changing situations
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
- Familiar with Apple software (Keynote, Pages, Numbers)
- High school diploma
